Visited La Sagrada Familia in 2017 and was blown away by this architectural masterpiece. The play of light by the stained glass on the organic columns was spectacular. We stayed for hours and went to the top for the view. My favourite cathedral in the world. 🥰 Thanks again Stephanie for the informative tour and showing all the new bits that weren’t built yet when I saw it.

The last time I saw the Sagrada was in 2018. It looked more beautiful than ever with the extra towers. I love Michael's little discoveries at Sagrada. The sadness in Olie's eyes makes me think there's something more than his sickness. I really hope he gets better soon.

That was great! Little Galahad looked cuter than ever in his boots. Reminds me of my daughter's pups a few years ago when they were both blessed with boots and they were really upset, so they did their break dance routine and went into another room...we found them working to take each other's boots off! I had a nervous breakdown years ago, I'm not a doctor, but Ollie reminds me of me at that time in my life. So nice to see Michael enjoying his visit with two good friends.

Gaudi's Sagrada Familia is utterly incredible! I think it's brilliant that even though the models and plans were destroyed, still, this fantasmagorical piece of architecture continues to be constructed. And one day, in the not too distant future, it will be complete! Dear Ollie. You are a special person and it is obviously distressing to have been unwell for these last months. It is marvellous that you have been able to accompany Stephanie in your travels and certainly as a ‘viewer’ it has been marvellous to watch and witness the places that you have travelled to. Yes, Philip is fast becoming the backbone of LaLande with his kindness, love and stalwart support to Stephanie and all LaLanders and visitors. I notice that Amaury trusts him fully as a coworker and as a friend which is a rare thing. His father and Nati are allowed to help Amaury and now Philip is one of the merry band. I think Amaury’s accident and Philip’s help on that day sealed the friendship and trust. We visited Sitges a couple of years ago after seeing Ollie and Camilla there. All the trees along the front had Parakeets in them. What a treat to see you there to. Bringing back memories of our trip. A lovely town and streets to wander around.

There is really nothing else that compares to Gaudi’s architecturally daring and artistically unique La Familia Sagrada. It’s beyond impressive to say the least, but for me the more traditional but still remarkably inspired work of Bernini and Borromini move me in a deeper way that La Familia Sagrada cannot. I’m also moved by the beauty of Sitges which I missed out on during my travels in Spain. I was also deeply moved to hysterics by the video clip of Galahad struggling to walk in his new winter boots.

Dogs really don’t need booties. Their feet are remarkably strong and able to handle snow and rain. Philip carries Galahad around all the time…the little guy needs to run and explore. The only place dogs might need booties or shoes is on salted city streets. Lalande is not that luckily. Great video and editing the travel and home front. The kitchen paint is perfect!

My first Sagrada Familia visit was in November 1995. There was no roof at the time. I took the elevator up the tower and walked over the bridge - at that time there was no protective wire applied to the bridge. All this protection and security is unfortunate but necessary I suppose. One of the most amazing Cathedtrals in the Western world in my opinion. Gorgeous.
