That brought back a lot of memories some good and others not so good. You seem to have a lit of projects in your workshop. Thanks for the video.

I made a clutch alignment tool out of wood. When I split the tractor and before I took the pressure plate off I fitted the piece of wood. So it worked great when I put the tractor back together. Great job there. Your tractor looks more compulated than my old Ferguson. Good that she back to working condition.

Thanks for the videos. Can you answer a question for me, which way does the transmission clutch face? Does the longer splined side face pressure plate or flywheel?
@Casterton-Vintage11 ай бұрын
If you try it against the flywheel it will only fit one way round.

What was the mod to after market pto plate? application of small file to splines to tidy up, in order to move freely?
@Casterton-Vintage11 ай бұрын
It was very slightly small and wouldn't fit over the splines. I flap wheeled it a little and, as you say, tidied up the splines with a small file.

Do you remember the torque specs for the pressure plate?
@Casterton-Vintage11 ай бұрын
Google it and find a standard bolt chart with a full list of torque settings. I would also say, make sure they are tight 😉

I have to ask if you have any ties to the intro music riff playing? It reminds me of "38 special". A band I watched in concert some over 40 years ago. I play guitars and it surely brings back memories along with the rigs seen in your videos. Cheers!

If you click on the description in the grey box below the video it will expand and tell what the music is. I got it from the KZbin music library and know nothing more about it. Thanks for watching.

Nice work. Except. Years from now someone will find your clutch tool and say what the heck is this 😂😂🤔
