Repair Corrupt Outlook PST files with Inbox Repair Tool

Hi Brian, my Outlook has failed since before Christmas 2021. Your tutorial above was manna from heaven. It took me some time as my system did not have quite the same as yours but I opened folders and had a look and eventually I got to the right path and found the tool. I followed your advice and at first it took nearly 30 mins to go through. I got the "Repaired" notification but I had seen another similar video to yours (which was not quite so straight forward) and he recommended running the scan 2, 3 or even 4 times. I ran a second scan and sure enough errors were found again. I repeated this 4 more times until the last two said "repaired" each time. The scans were getting much faster each time. Then, fingers crossed, I started Outlook and this time it opened as smooth as silk! Thank you so much. This particularly good because I am to PC tech what Herod was to mothercare! I now have to wade through 180 emails that poured in! Cheap at the price. Thank you again.

WOW - What a relief! Hours and hours but I still couldn't locate Inbox repair tool! I needed my emails for our charity work, plus others for articles for the magazine which I edit. Then even this Grandma had a brainwave - KZbin! Saved! Brilliant! And free! Thank you so much, Anne :)

you are the only one that was able to point me in the right direction. thank you. now I am hoping that it will fix my problem..................(2 hours later) OK, my data is over 12 GB. it took a while and it is repaired. thank you again. thank you ....wait a minute...the next time I turn my computer on, which was a couple of days later, outlook gave me the same fault and did not start...I ended up upgrading form my 2007 to 365 subscription and things seems to be working on this new version now. but don't let my solution take away from this video. this video is the best I have seen

Brian Thanks for the walk through. I found other tips on how to repair my outlook problem I had spent a half-day working with them. I found yours on KZbin and it was fix and done within the hour thanks again. I will stay in touch and look for other ideas and suggestions. Thanks again.

Thank you. Fixed the problem on my old Vista back-up computer. The browse feature of the .pst repair program couldn't find the outlook.pst file, so I had to manually enter it. Time to archive the inbox onto another drive.

Yes, Cook! I agree with you. I also read a review of MVP (Clint Boessen) that third party PST repair software like Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair Software is better than Inbox Repair Tool.

Inbox repair tool always works in minor corruption issues of Outlook Data file. But if its Outlook PST is highly damaged then only third party tools are the options to repair them.

Cool! Good information sir...I tried it (Office 2013..no scanost.exe in it though just scanpst.exe) but ran the repair app as administrator. It did the repairs and created ,log files and .bak files for the repaired .pst files without me requesting a backup. FYI

Hi Brian, about 3 weeks ago I couldn't open outlook and followed your instructions. Thank you sooo much for putting up instructions that work and save us from ANXIETY about losing our Outlook!! So all worked well, except a few people have reported not getting any emails from me at all although they could see I had sent it to them when someone in a group email replied all. A week ago the outlook crashed again and the repair tool worked again Thank you Again!. 2 days ago I upgraded to windows 10 and although Outlook was working it has now crashed again. I have run the repair tool twice today and still will not open. Where do I go from here??
