Where can I find the part at? Fcp has a lot of flanges for coolant that look similar idk the exact part to get tho. Same make and model of Jetta

Just got my my Jetta at the mechanic but it's still Leaking and over heating. There's a hose that leaks at the top.

We just sold that car and didn't have any issues with the sunroof leaking sorry no help here. Unless you live in Virginia my brother works on sunroofs.

Name of the hose is called a heater hose core

the hose that connects to my coolant tank popped off an my coolant went everywhere. can u explain why ? i have a mk4 gti 1.8 btw

The Jetta we had was not a turbo. I believe the 1.8 Turbo is a bit different how all the hoses connect. The scenario that we ran into was the plastic parts were old and they just broke off and sprayed everywhere. Sorry not much of a help but I don't want to tell you the wrong thing without seeing it.

Yup I just fixed mine. I had a hard time putting my back. That o ring gasket keped coming off. Bit I got it back. It was hard but no mechanic was payed. It all stayed in my pocket. Thank you.

My temp sensor now works. It was filthy. I cleaned it before I put it back and I put it back. Now my tempeture gage also works.

Had exact problem on my 99 Jetta 2.0, besides the reservoir and reservoir hoses were leaking also, highly recommend to replace those as well... I thought my head gasket was blown up 👆. Helpful video, thanks for sharing! 👍
