Have you experienced any exhaust codes or any intermittent shifting issues with this vehicle? I also have an 04 with 175k miles and it's just now starting to act kinda funny

your car temp jumped to 190 was it cold?

I have a 04 1.8t jetta and I’m curious, will I have to replace the first hose beside the sensor if the long tube part is broken off inside of it…? Or am I able to get it out without damaging the hose somehow…?

I always replace my hose clamps with the screw down ones. Those pinch tabs are too much of a royal pain to deal with, especially the big ones on the intake

Took my jetta to a local midas for a coolant flush and a coupler replacement as one cracked and leaked coolant.. When they were checking hoses they super glued the flange where the fluid cycles through. Of course i didnt know till the heat did its work overtime and wore the glue down, and no way i can prove it. Thanks for the video. Already got the part and installing it in the morning.
