I really like your videos. Thank you for producing them, I'm sure it takes alot of time and work but I always get something from them. Great problem solving and restoring a beautiful clock.

@@mherzog7 ok me neither in the correct way that is, I'll give you a tip if you need to unfreeze an h or s rotor set it above a light bulb that gives off plenty of heat, leave it for about twenty minutes then take it off from the light and drop some oil where the drive gear is, and as it cools it will suck the oil in.

I have seen that technique, where it is heated by a bulb or in a toaster oven, and then add oil around the gear. My problem with that is that the oil used originally thickens up over time. Synthetic oils do not. So I consider it a quick fix, as eventually the old oil will thicken up again, causing the rotor to re-freeze.

Thanks, I have seen and worked on a lot of clocks that have that basic square wood case, but this was the first mirror clock I have seen and thought it was well worth the sacrifice.
