this was a fun restoration to watch, and I was extra pleased at the end when you decided to cook on it and give us links to the videos to watch that too. Thanks for this one! I was very entertained.

I knew nothing about using onions to season cast iron until I watched your video. Thank you for teaching me something new!
Been missing your style. Loving your unique wire brush flick. Just now realizing that you are a foodie too! Keep em coming !!

You have a new subscriber! I love that you restore these neglected things without using expensive power tools. I have only one complaint, you don't give the recipes for the wonderful food you create! Thank you for your time and effort.

Pensaba que sería, en plan, mitad restauración y otra mitad haciendo una receta pero resultó que el proceso de restauración fue más complejo de lo que me pensaba. Buen video.

Is there anything you cannot do? You restore metal, clothes, cut a tomato in thin slices and even make tricks with a lighter 😱 Man, that’s impressive!

how I like these types of videos, the truth is they are relaxing 😌👌 greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
I have always put my cast iron in the oven to season it, I’m guessing this is a version of that? It’s definitely a more visually pleasing way to do it but it seems as if it took longer? (Not critical, I am genuinely asking. ) I was excited to see you show what one could cook with it when you’d finished the restoration. Being from the American South, I did, for a second or two, think you had an old cornbread muffin pan. Hahaha It turned out beautiful as per your usual. Thank you for sharing it!

all the polishing done by hand... respect👌🏻 cool vídeos, cheers from Spain 🇪🇸
Love the outcome, but you spent a lot of time sanding needlessly, the seasoning process would have done most of your work, and seasoning in the oven gives better results

yo just curious but why did you change the sand paper when you decided to do the top of the takoyaki plate? couldn't you have just continued to use the spongy sand paper?
@Dollie_Babie3 жыл бұрын
I'm not an expert or anything, but it seems to be just easier in general. The spongy one can get along the curves of the spheres so that's why it was used. It wouldn't be as effective on the flatter surface of the top.
