I've replaced my Whirlpool Duet bellow tub seal/outer/inner clamp 3 times now, every time I need a refresher to build my confidence on the proper process and this video is perfect. Knocked it out in about an hour today. No leaks and I feel good about the replacement. Thank you...saved me money, time, and stress (only had to halt the laundry cycles for 4 days), and completing it on my own. Yes!!

Thank you so much for this video. I bought a spring expansion tool online and it wasn’t wide enough. Then I saw this video, grabbed the needle nose pliers and my hubby’s muscle and he pulled down on the spring while I tucked the band around. So happy right now!

Okay this is a LOT harder than he makes it look! The clamp that I got had a spring so strong that it took all my strength to stretch it enough to get the clamp around the seal. It took my needle-nose pliers and both hands to stretch it enough to fit. It did work, though, and without this video I'd probably not have had a chance. But don't expect it to take 1:42 like it does in the video.

I ended up having to stretch the spring a bit with pliers then put the spring at the top so I can see it easier, unhooked the wire then held the spring side with pliers while my son pulled the hook side on. I just cleaned the drain filter had to take the whole thing apart and by far this was the hardest part! Stupid spring is giving 1800's energy fr 😂 wtf is there no better way...

I have no idea how you were able to do this with one clamp, i have 3 clamps a needle nose plier and I still don't have the strength to get this on!!

My bellow adheres right to the washing machine without a clamp. Like it's glued there. Is this normal? It is a whirlpool wfw9050xw03. We just purchased a bellow replacement and cant continue on with the repair because the old bellow is apparently glued to the washing machine? Any advice?
