As with all electronic based equipment, do a power down reset by pulling the plug and reinserting again. My machine came back to normal and save me getting a hernia carrying it to my workshop. Symptoms: microwave has time, buttons work (except for #3) and functions almost as normal when entering cook time. Once entering cook time, the number counts down. But.. The turn table doesnt spin, the fan does not turn on, and the food does not warm up after it being counted down. Prior to this, for the last several weeks the fan would turn on when opening the door, but it would still turn on when the door was closed and it was set to cook.. but that fixed itself and it started working fine. What could it be? Fuse would mean the whole thing wouldnt work, right? the fact that most things work except for the fan, heat, and the turn table seems like it should be specific.

With the parts that I removed from an oven that was placed at the curb to thus be picked up and deposed of, I replaced the door micro-switches, and the AC main fuse. That got the oven up and going again. Total repair cost $0.00. The plate rotate motor also died at one point, so I took the motor apart and repaired it. Total repair cost $0.00. This 2004 stainless steel oven of mine was a demo oven, or so they said, and so it only cost me about $40. In truth, it was not a demo, butthe keyboard was only half working. I fixed that by cleaning the keyboard connection contacts. Total repair cost $0.00. 2019, and this baby is still running and still looks almost brand new.

In turn, I am very familiar with what was experienced by many other poor folk as was covered in the movie "Awakenings", staring Robin Williams, Julie Kavner, Ruth Nelson, John Heard, Penelope Ann Miller, and Max von Sydow. Other than that, despite being a high school dropout, and a once dementia victim, I did manage to independently discover the phenomena that is today described in Einstein's theory of Special Relativity(SR), and I also independently derived all of the SR mathematical equations. I replaced the switches when my microwave kept popping the circuit breaker. And it worked for a couple more years. T starting tripping the breaker again and so I thought, time to change the switches. It worked for a day and when I opened the door without stopping the microwave it tripped the breaker again. No matter what I do it doesn’t work. So I thought. Maybe I need a new latch holder since the plastic looks worn. Ordered one and put that in. Now the microwave sound like it’s on as soon as I close the door. The lights on, but the turn table is not turning nor is it heating. Not sure what that’s about. But I’m guessing I burnt the new switches. So I’m replacing the monitor switch again and hoping that resolves the issue. If that’s not it, I think I’m done because everything else is too expensive for my 2014 microwave. 😂 Any suggestions please leave them, thanks.

How does half wave rectification double voltage? How can you increase voltage without amplifying? The transformer is increasing the voltage, the diode is just half wave rectifying it. I mean, unless someone can show me the math proving half wave rectification will increase voltage.
@channelview8854 Жыл бұрын
It's very common in electronic and been done since the earliest days of radio. Basically, you charge two or more capacitors in parallel with the rectified AC. When the AC wave reverses, those capacitors are discharged thru diodes but they are in series because of the circuit configuration. It's possible to have 2X, 4X, or pretty much however much multiplication you want. Because there is no free lunch, current output is inverse to voltage multiplication minus minor losses in components.
