Don't be shy subscribe, like and hit the bell !!! This video shows how I got an 8HPSno Power snow blower going without removing the carb from the motor. It has a 8HP Tecumseh motor.

Bruce, I actually watched this video a year or two ago but I don't think I commented. So, I wanted to come back and tell you it's become one of my favorite snowblower repair videos. Good repair, good personality, good energy, you even say "excuse me" after coughing which I've always been taught is the polite and professional way of handling yourself. Nice job. Now subscribed.

Draining the old gas with the button and a little gas in the spark plug did it.!!! Thanks for the help as it saved my back from shoveling!

The You Tube videos have helped me understand what needs to be done and to evaluate if I need to take it in for repair.

It was so ironic i am working on the same exact model, so glad i ran across your vid it helped a lot. Pulled from the barn not used in two years. I have to admit the bowl on that carb was a bugger to get off i had to set the proper float height with an 11/64 drill bit since i pulled it down when removing the bowl :P

Thanks this really helped. The tip about pouring some gas in the cylinder to check to see if the machine runs was great!

from all the KZbin videos I've seen, you Canadians always seem like such good, affable folks.....unfortunately that hasn't been my experience the hand full of times I've visited your country....I must have been through the wrong parts? Beautiful place none the less! Thank you for your knowledge!

Thought I would leave you comment on this older vid. Got pretty much the same snowblower 04 or a 05 somewhere in the neighborhood. Loss my old man O6 & it sit for 2yrs with gas in it & all the seals, fuel lines , was gone . Turns out they quit making the carb with fuel release on the bowl & the seals was eat up on that as well rebuilt the carb with 3 different carbs from my buddies shop .Lol was able to get a new float needle and seat ! Never seen a float fill with fuel but that one did . I have never got it running right ! It sit last year didn't need ! No fuel & it just won't run back to the drawing board unless dump gas down the head & carb is clean ?
