Your basket type spinner bowl is supposed to catch under the lid so it all spins together. Take the lid part and put the spinner basket together. If it doesn't stay attached contact the company. Maybe the lid wasn't pushed down tight enough?

Why does OXO have to constantly change their spinning mechanism? I have a broken OXO steel salad spinner, only used a couple of times. None of the videos look like my spinning mechanism. There are no repair manuals on their site. Fuck OXO. I hope KZbin doesn't censor me.
