NASTY STUFF but unfortunatly really need to be done and done the right way. I discovered that having someone else to lay beside you. Hmm, Mike ? and do the streaches and bending makes it kind of fun too boot. I already dropped a chat discussing this so it's in your hands now Nannie J. It won't really hurt him much (LOL) and he will have a better understanding a lot of what you are dealing with. See ya later eh. Big hugs to all.

Great to see so many concerned subs with your girl. That home physio as a real bear but something that may help her along with them is to join her along the journey EVERY day. It will be fun in a way and won't hurt you either. Home is supposed to be a safe place so intentionly hurting yourself at home just rubs folks the wrong way. Fair enough eh. Just a thought bud. Lets see what she has to say as I noticed she is already here.Good post bud.

Hey, I have never had one of these power packs before but I do have a set of Jumper cables I made a very long time ago using #4/0 Welders stinger cables 24 feet long (great as they are very flexable at -35C) and the roundish clamps with everything soldered in place. Overkill, , , Probably as that is my way but after almost 40 years they are like new and can reach the battery of most vehicles, HD equipment. 12 or 24 volt transfers with 120 amp loads don't bother them at all. In your case you can charge up this box by jumping it and take it anywhere anytime. Handy and cheaper than the $145.00 I put out to make up my cables . All good ole son.
@GrampiesWorkshop3 ай бұрын
How's she goin'? Your jumper cables sound like winners to me. I find a lot of jumper cables aren't long enough, but you got that point covered, 24 feet long!! Awesome. Another thing too is the flexibility of the cables. It seems you use jumper cables most times in winter when it's colder that your step mother's breath and a lot of the cables you buy these days are so stiff in those cold temps they won't even uncoil!! Thanks for commenting Dean!! Take 'er easy!!

Now that sure was a handy repair! Now I've got to check mine to see if it is plastic or not. Maybe you'll clue someone in to making the boosters with plug in cables or clamps, so if one does break makes it easier to replace. Better than throwing the whole thing out as I'd never be one to be able to replace a clamp. Awesome stuff! Good to hear that Nannie is still progressing well...always in my thoughts and prayers. Can good care and hope you are keeping cool up there.

How's shew goin'? Thanks so much for your kind thoughts and prayers Bruce!! That means a lot to both Janet and I. You know Bruce I was thinking of just adding a plug so I could easily connect the clamps to the booster pack. I had a set up in the tractor shed that I could have used too. But I thought, this is just a simple little job of changing over the clamps, it can't be too complicated. Well it took me all afternoon! LOL Glad I did it though as these booster packs are too pricey to just throw out because a clamp broke. Say Arrf Arrf to Otis and take 'er easy!!

@@GrampiesWorkshop I have some new kitchen faucets to put in and am dreading the day that I start. YT and the instructions say less than an hour...but I know much better from my own experiences on anything in the past that it will be an all day event and better be prepared to have the water shut off for that whole period!
