Good video. I had that error before, wouldn't reset, so I had a bag of screens and a glow plug. Change them both because the glow plug was all rounded off at the end. Saved it just in case it was still good. Also ordered another 2 spare glow plugs .

You should do an informational video for many RV creators on how to acquire camera position and then look at the lens and not themselves. You've got it down. I know it's easy to sit on your deck and enjoy life but, you really need to finish your home.

thanks for making this video. my VEVOR just conked after a month, pouring out white smoke and the air coming out is cold. It keeps saying e10. So not sure if I have the same problem as you but maybe. How long did it take you to replace that part? These things are cheap enough I could just keep buying new ones instead of fixing them. But that doesn't seem right really.

I had a similar thing happen to my heater except the error was 08. After going around the block a few times it turned out to be the same little screen which they tell me got clogged because I didn't adjust the fuel/air mixture for the Leadville altitude. I replaced the screen and made that adjustment and now it's working. The leaner mixture does not burn as hot but hopefully won't clog the screen again.

my first thought was that the air/fuel mix needed adjusting. Also not sure why the screen couldn't be cleaned with a solvent and reused?

@@xtremeclean9049 The gunk that builds up on the screen is baked on and I'm not sure what solvent would be necessary. Not many Nomads carry a selection of solvents in their rigs. If you did have something, it would be worth keeping the old one as a spare and soaking it over a longer time.

It may be too baked on to clean. It just seems like Seven hasn’t had the heater very long to already begin replacing parts on it. He may need to consider making the heater more accessible if it will need to be serviced quite frequently. I would think that anyone who travels in a vehicle (especially full time) would have a can of carb cleaner or PB blaster on hand for mechanical emergencies.

the replacement screens are about $1 each so easier to replace than trying to clean them ;)

Hi , with my experience, I went to a manual on/off and dial switch every now and then use acetone along with the diesel fuel and it will keep your unit running., acetone cleans the soot. some times you may have to disassemble and clean the burn chamber. Best Regards

amazon.. don't believe there is a specific brand, just buy one for diesel heater chinese/german 5k model and it works perfectly

Crank it up on HIGH for 5 to 10 min before shutting it down to burn the carbon off of the screen and it will help with that problem.

Always check your fuel level and line before you start tearing stuff apart..I just got a E08 code, simple low fuel issue... added fuel... good to go! Unit is 2 years now second season I use this one for my main heater... part of house heating.. about 400 square feet poorly insulated older place it works great... can burn about a tank every day to two day on medium heat to low setting.. for those considering one...

I use oven cleaner to clean out the screen and chambers. The kind of oven cleaner that you can apply to a cold surface, let it sit for about an hour, then remove/flush with water. I dont take the screen out cause of damage, just spray a bunch of oven cleaner in there and let it soak.

Would clean out 2 stroke exhaust with sodium hydroxide, same stuff as oven cleaner, used to unblock drains, might be a bit cheaper. My heater just stopped code 10. Looks like needs a clean.

I also received an .E10 message and it turned out to be the diesel tank ventilation. The pump created negative pressure in the tank and the fuel supply stopped. This generated the E10 message.

How do you have the fresh air intake for the burn chamber situated.

air intake is under the trailer attached to I-beam facing opposite direction as the exhaust (which is ported out the side)

A always use proper wiring size B keep wiring runs as short as possible and make sure your connections are perfect strong clean.. dry safe.. C add a voltage amp monitor meter ... so you can easily see that it is always getting at least 12.67 volts ... D always have it on battery back up and use a 110 ac to 12.7 dc converter if possible.. in home never let your power supply fail while running...

I keep getting a e-10 error I can’t figure it out I’ve replaced the glow plug cuz I took it apart and noticed the tip of the plug was cracked and broke, I also replaced the mesh that goes around the glow plug. The burn chamber is clean as a whistle. I only run diesel through this, the fuel line total from tank to unit maybe 2 and half foot. Another issue I’m having is priming I have the red controller I ain’t been able to find others like mine but when I try to push ok and up or on and up or down I get nothing but it seems to be priming on the initial start up and there is fuel all through the line. Any ideas advise and help would be so appreciated thanks again.

I thought it was called atomization screen. Anyway mine was blocked up with carbon . And small hole above it was half blocked. Running on idle all night seems to be my issue .

Personally I think if I were doing a replacement or even a first time I’d somehow come up with the $1500 and purchase new, unless I found out that they too were manufactured in China as well then I’d stick with the the less expensive model

I bought two for less than half the price of a name brand. Use one, if it has a problem I switch it out and replace it for a few bucks. It would take me years to make up the cost difference, including repairs and time.
