Thank you. I have an old butter knife with a rounded, thin enough blade but not sharp, which makes for a lovely tool since you can kind of rotate it along its edge in the vedge 😛.

Thank you, I’ve been wondering how this LG remote opened so I could clean it, always got a guitar 🎸 pick in my hands! Also by using a guitar pick it doesn’t damage your plastic case leaving pry marks like a flathead screwdriver does, but you already knew that!😂Thanks again much appreciated 👍🎸🇨🇦

I always find the hidden screw. Usually after I've destroyed whatever it is I'm trying to fix.

Hello, Thank you for this video... I was wondering how to open this remote without breaking the whole thing ! Actually, it is possible to clean with soap and water (and a toothbrush) all the parts except the PCB. I used a wet sponge to gently clean the contacts on the PCB.

I used 70% alcohol and a kitchen paper to clean it, worked just fine. I was wondering, if there are any screws hidden, thanks to your video I know now, there are no screws. Thanks

Hi RRZX, In answer to rubbing alcohol, it depends on the ingredients. Typically rubbing alcohol is a solution of isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in water. Isopropyl is the alcohol you should using.
