Reparación portón Mercedes Benz Clase R W251 / TAILGATE ERROR FIXED

Se tienen que cambiar los 2 muelles.
La forma normal de hacerlo sería desde el interior, quitando el tapizado del techo.
He conseguido hacerlo desde fuera gracias a una palanca curvada que me ha servido para sacar el muelle viejo y para instalar el nuevo.

You have to change the 2 springs.
The normal way to do it would be from the inside, removing the upholstery from the ceiling.
I have managed to do it from the outside thanks to a curved lever that has helped me to remove the old dock and to install the new one.

It is likely that the springs they put in the factory are not as efficient as those of now, in this way you make sure to put the most efficient part tested by Mercedes after so many years.

Hello, my trunk will only open with the key remote, or the switch on the trunk. But it won't open/close with the switch by the driver's door , or the red button on the trunk or with the remote. Anything I can do to correct this? Thanks

In those cases I would check the right spring. The gate position sensor is located in this housing. It has the same appearance as a hydraulic spring but its function is completely electrical. It is responsible for telling the opening system the position of the gate at all times. Do a test: put the reduced opening position in the comfort options and check that it works well.

Hola, si, dos amortiguadores, uno para cada lado. La referencia es efectivamente la de la caja. Los compré en mercedes por aquello de que te dan el último modelo por las revisiones que van pasando los repuestos a lo largo de los años.
