[1080P] EASY BATTERY REPLACEMENT Mercedes R-class W251 (M-Class w164, GL-Class x166)

Replace your battery underneath the passenger seat, follow these simple steps. This installation is the same for the M-class W164 and the GL-class X166.
Why you should replace the main battery in your mercedes?
- Lots of electrical failures, if the voltage drops under 12v
- Battery have no capacity, cant start after 30 min with ignition on
- Battery have no cold crank amps left, specially for diesel engines
The job is pretty easy and can be done by any DIY'ers out there.
This job require normal tools, please note the female torx tops for seat removal!

Does the SRS airbag warning signal actually stop the car from running or is it just anoyingK? I am looking at one that had a back seat airbag deployed and not fixed, i imagine that warning light is on. thanks

hi, i would definitely recommend getting it fixed. You would be able to drive with the srs warning message in the middle screen, but im pretty sure your whole SRS system would not engage and therefore you and your passangers safety is optimal in case of an accident (airbags is disabled due to srs error) Good luck!

I also made about 2 months ago ... for safety I changed all 2 batteries ... however, give a clean and dirty machine ... hello

You are right, the auxillary battery should be replaced the same time. Mine was done by previous owner not that long time ago, so thats why i didnt replace that. I totally agree with you, the car is dirty and nasty, just had it washed the other day :-) Im going to do a video with detailing and color correcting it due to its many dents and scratches.
