Jim, don’t give me wrong here. Still a big fan. I like your efforts. But like so many in Congress ultimately your product is just talk. Congress produces votes as well, which if more members of Congress would follow your lead we would have a much better product coming out of Congress. But the debating society aside, wasting time with this Democrat on CNN doesn’t seem the best use of your time. And you’ve got to stop trying to justify defensively explain yourself. Take an example from Matt Gaetz and simply state what you have to say. Don’t try to explain it or come off as trying to justify or in a defensive manner as you did in this debate with this Democrat. This is not an interview with a journalist it’s a debate with the Democrat who also serves as the moderator and so-called fact-checker. You don’t need to try to explain yourself away or let them work you into a corner. And Donald Trump very well may investigate some of the aforementioned people as they likely need to be investigated. The idea that Democrats can go after us we are just simply going to take it or look the other way is at best naïve. Ultimately though why are you even wasting time on CNN? They have virtually no ratings and an audience that’s not persuadable at this point. Fact, they may go the way of MSNBC and being auctioned off fairly soon.
