VW Jetta Check Coolant Level Fix Red Coolant Warning Light

Fix VW Jetta instrument cluster displaying a red triangle central warning light; please check the coolant level, displayed on the MMI. The coolant I used is a purple/pink G13 coolant. It is also important to use distilled water and create a 50/50 coolant to water mix. Cross-reference all work with your owner's manual; please feel free to leave questions in the comments area.

Hey brother i wanna ask a question which is out of topic.. Is the 2021 jetta gli reliable on the long run like if i buy it and keep regular maintenance like gearbox oil change, engine oil change ,coolant change, and let the engine warm up for about 5 minutes so that oil reaches all of the engine parts will the car stay reliable throughout the years Of normal driving plus aggressive driving for the fun? I've never driven a turbo car and my country is hot during the summer like 40-45c so do you think i should buy this car or a 2021 corolla? Because I don't want to drive it for months then have to do expensive components replaced.. Btw nice video and subbed🖤

Thanks for this clear and concise information. Where is the coolant link? I'd like to support you and get the correct G13 coolant. I've read it SHOULD NOT be combined with G12+ or any "universal" coolant.

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and comment. Glad I could help with your VW coolant personally I was waiting for Amazon to add a G13 fluid so I can link. Unfortunately they have not yet and recommending the fluids that are available like the Peak Purple and the Valvoline Zerex G40 is not my favorite thing to do. Yes the coolant is very specific for 2008 and up VW’s and I certainly would never use a universal coolant unless I fully flushed the system and only had the universal fluid. Please share an update, thanks.

This happened to my 20 Tiguan. While cold starting. I opened the hood to check the fluid. It was low.. but had fluid in it. To put back the lid and turned the car on. The light went away.

Hi. What if it says “Premium Antifreeze” on the Pentofrost E bottle and not “Long life antifreeze?” Is that still ok to use?

Thanks a bunch for watching my video and taking the time to comment. In my experiences that is normal for the system to pull some into it and thus appear lower in the reservoir. I would keep an eye out to see if you are constantly losing fluid for a bigger issue. Please share an update, thanks.

Shaking could be many things. Hopefully, it's a simple fix, like replacing an ignition coil and sparkplug. Please share an update, thanks.

I have a 2012 hyundai ix35 that started smelling burnt oil and the engine temperature was on quite high and when I check the coolant it was completely empty. the car did not warn of anything. do I have to bleed the system after they there wasn't a single drop left?

Since you ran out of fluids, you should check if your car is OK by a professional. There is an underlying reason you lost the fluids in the first place. Also, the damage done by the overheating needs to be checked as well.
