Great video! watched it a few times and tried it. Took forever to get the bulb out. It doesn't just 'pull' out! The black part came off and I had to put it on the bulb again at least 10 times. Couldn't grab the bulb. Wiggled the bulb around till it snapped out. Thought I broke the bulb but I didn't. Had to fidel and wiggle the cover back on too. Have to be patient and feel it. I'm a woman and 63. Did it! Thanks.

Used this video for the drivers side. One figuring out how to get the air box out its a doddle. Tricky to get the bulb back in but this video saved me like 40 pounds. Thanks.

I just did mine on driver side it's aiming about 16 inch higher than the other have I put it in upside down which way does the tab on the bulb go is it to the top

You pull it to the right and up..because in left side he is stuck in 2 rpund holes and on the bottom he is also stucked

Maybe my hands are bigger, I fannied around with this method for 30 mins and did nothing but graze knuckles and draw blood. I decided to do it by recommended method, removed 9 torque screws (two within each wheel arch, two behind the black trim under the bumper and three further back. Finally four bolts along the top of the slam panel and within 10 mins the bumper was off. three more 10mm bolts for each light and they were off. It was at this point that I realised why I could not simply pull the bulb out. there are spring clips that hold the bulb into the housing. I needed to use a flatblade to hold them back and then could pull the bulb. 1 mins to replace 2 bulbs and then 10 mins to get it back together. Total time from when I opted for bumper off and headlight out method 22 mins. and no further blood drawn Unless you have small hands don't bother with this method and even then removing the bumper is so easy and quick that I dont understand why you would try do it any other way Nice try but no cigar, well from me anyway :D

there are (No spring clips that hold the bulb into the housing on the 1.3 cdti on this model) pull out and push in Bulbs. You must have big hands, on saying that you must of been able to get hold of the bulb in the first place as you said "It was at this point that I realised why I could not simply pull the bulb out. there are spring clips that hold the bulb into the housing". what car was you trying to change the bulbs on ?

2006 Corsa D 1.4 petrol, the housing that the bulb fits into has two spring clips , you just need to flick one clip back to remove the bulb, with the headlight unit removed from the front of the car it was dead easy. Folk make a load of noise about having to remove the bumper on these cars, but honestly 10 mins flat and no drama. Damn site easier than replacing bulbs on my Stag :D I could touch the back of the bulb and grip it but no way was the bulb a pull out job, it did push back in as the clips give way and then hold the bulb in place. I resorted to removing the bumper after I knocked the levelling sensor out of the way and thought to hell with this game. I cannot imagine the fun involved with getting that levelling unit refitted with the headlamp in place. Like I say good try and I am always up for doing something slightly differently. this solution wasn't for me, nor a load of others looking at the other comments.

After 30 minutes of putting light cap back on i gave up and took this car to dealership to get a new one. Never opel/vauxhall again. I'm really ducking pissed at this design. Nightmare.

The old bulb was already out! Tried for 20 minutes to fit the new bulb without luck. Are you sure the bulb just pushes in as the handbook says push in and turn clockwise?

Worst fucking car for swapping bulbs ever made. Totally shit. Why they put a bolt on the bottom of the headlight unit only makes sense to a designer who never worked on any car in their life. Should have been a lug to locate. No one has hands small enough to fit bulb with headlight unit in place. Thought Audi was bad but corsa stupid as fucking pig shit on a hot day..
