Thank you for this excellent video! It was straight to the point with no talking just to hear yourself talk lol. I just bought a used Snapper SPX 2246 almost identical to the one in your video. The previous owner said the deck belt broke, and he bought two new belts and couldn't get either one installed on the deck. He said both belts were just ab out one inch too short to go on. He gave me both belts with the mower. Going by the Snapper site, it appears they actually list one belt that is 1/2 x 117 inches, and another one that is 1/2 x 118 inches, for this mower. I haven't tried to measure the two belts he gave me yet. I'm hoping he just had the 117" belts and that's why he couldn't get either one to go on. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow and see what I can figure out. Seems like I'll have to order a 118" belt and hopefully I'll be able to get it mowing with that. Other than the deck belt, it runs great!! Thanks again for the video!!!

@@ReichpoloTech Well, I found out that the two belts he gave me with that mower are part number 405143, which is a 1/2" x 105.75" belt. No wonder he couldn't get either one to fit that mower, they were too short! So, today I'm going shopping for the correct belt, and for a 15x6.00 inner tube for the front left tire. Hopefully I can get this mower going today, in spite of all the rain from tropical storm Debby!!

Hello, can I ask you for an opinion regarding the type of belt, what is the difference between the n°1719911 SM and the 1719911? Within a few months I broke 2 of them after the original one lasted several years. Do you have any advice for me?

Mine has 2 extra pulleys in the middle. I can’t figure out what order they need to wrap

Of course the pulleys on my snapper 42in check are in a straight line so this set up does not work for it, wish I took a picture of my self up beforehand.
