Always remove the gas tank cap if you work on the fuel system to help it depressure . It is a safety measure on many shop rightfully, or do you like fuel in your eyes?

Hi, I'd say no, the last thing you want on a diesel is an air trap in the fuel line.

Ignition on off on off on off primes the diesel, just don't start the engine

On euro5 facelift models they told me they're self priming, you have to only turn ignition on for 30 seconds or more. Is it correct? Thank you!

Filter job is to keep water out by draining old filter and pouring it back to new filter doest make any sense u should of let that fuel sit to separate the water from fuel .....

The filter stops contaminant debris from entering the engine, there was no issue with water in the fuel.
