Some shafts may not go flush with furnace always check. Also Blaster may not work try heating up the set screw with torch if that don't work get a bit and screw through the set screw with a smaller bit make room for expansion spray the blaster in the set screw keep trying. Worst case scenario get a new wheel if not using the old one and cut the shift. This guy did an excellent video.

This was immensely helpful diagnose a faulty inducer. My pressure switch was not closing because the inducer motor was not moving (took me a few hours to learn that)! Finally took the inducer assembly apart and turns out it was just moisture blocking the motor from spinning. After putting some wd-40 in the motor shaft, it immediately could spin freely. I put it back in the furnace and the pressure switch was now closing! Just need to replace the gasket now and I'm all good!

Outstanding, that’s great news. Thank you for sharing this on your Friday evening, it means the world to us. For followers, with my Bryant model 310aav... repair clinic said the entire assembly was 326628-761 and the internal motor itself was HC21ZE121 however when I ordered a used part with that motor from eBay (Jakel J238-100-10108) it seemed to be the exact same full assembly.... Also of note is that the fan blade is made of fairly wimpy metal so if yours is too wobbly or sounds like it's hitting scratching something you can try bending it so it wobbles less... Not as good as replacing but hey in a pinch and cheap :)

If you find yourself watching this video to do this exact job (as I did), do what he did and replace your grommets at the same time. Yes, they're expensive for what they are, but it's worth it. I tried to skip it on mine, and ended up doing it 2 weeks later and the whole thing is much quieter now.

I have the same exact inducer motor. The issue I’m having is that it’s just making a noise. It turns on and heats the house just fine. Ive tried to spin the outboard fan by hand I can replicate a feint noise as if it’s not centered. I can cure it by applying pressure to one side of the housing bracket. I’ve taken the assembly out as you did and the fan going into the furnace is nice and balanced. I can only assume that it’s the rubber grommets that need to be replaced? What is the part number for those?
