Replacing nox sensors require a data set relearn for the nox sensors. And the sensors have been updated so If the truck has old style sensors like in the video both must be replaced they cannot be missed matched.

I have 2008 Mack CXU613, with code MID 128 PPID 270 FMI 5, it is telling me that NOX 2:39 sensor is bad. But I don't have that kind of sensor, and also DPF is dry.

Why would you replace it? Is it the sensor that sets off the low DEF quality message? I thought that would be the downstream sensor.

The Nox sensor measures the PPM of the SCR system and the measurement controls the DEF/SCR Operation. The faulty sensor can be caused by fault codes related to the NOX Inlet 1, or SPN 3216 Fault code. It's always recommended to replace both nox sensors at the same time and also perform a Learned Data reset.

You just have to make sure your key is in the off position. You don't need to disconnect your batteries for this replacement. You also need to reset your engine learned data after you replaced this sensor.
