Replace Ram Mirror Arm Covers for Cheap!

The Ram tow mirror arm covers ARE replaceable! You don't have to buy a whole new mirror. Part numbers are below and this video shows the uninstall/install.
The OEM mirror arm covers are available through Mopar. Their part numbers are listed below with an Amazon link (As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.).

Thank you for posting this, you save me $1500 (autobody quote). I ordered the part number you provided from Mopar - they contacted me (by email prior to shipping) for my VIN # and said the part would not fit my 2017 power wagon - I ordered it anyway. It fit perfect with no issues so far.

Getting your opinion on a similar issue. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic, non-towing standard mirrors with the black plastic finish. I wanted to swap out the old cover that got scuffed up. Do you think the process for removing the mirror cover is similar to your tow mirrors by pulling up instead of out to avoid breaking the tabs?

Hi Scott! Unfortunately I have no experience with the 1500 mirrors to I can't say for sure. I would just try to be very gentle with them and see how it goes. Don't force it hard.

Hi Alex. I'm sorry but I don't know those part numbers. You can probably find it online though. Try searching for things like "Ram microfiche" or "ram parts lookup" to find the part diagrams. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to find but I believe that's how I found these arm covers. Take care.

Mine are not broken, but my driver's side arm is loose. Constantly having to push it back out to adjust. Did you notice any tension screws under the cover?

Help!! I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with power tow mirror arm assemblies. The arm got smacked at night by a tree branch and busted the back cover off (clips appear to be ok) and the turn signal lens is cracked. Chrysler says that there is no replacement part number for the cover because its is a power tow mirror and that the cover for the manual assembly does not fit. They sure look the same to me. They of course want me to replace the whole assembly which is outrageously expensive and completely unnecessary for a $10 chunk of plastic!! Thank you in advance!

Hi Pam! Sorry to hear that happened to you. Is it the lower cover like is shown in my video? My mirrors are power towing mirrors also. I'm just not sure from your message if you cracked the main body of the mirror (the part that folds out and holds the mirror glass) or if it's the cover like what I have shown in this video. I believe you can get aftermarket replacement mirror turn signal lenses but I have not researched any of those companies.

​@@GodsCountry Your assembly looks identical to mine. Yes, it is the arm cover. I tried to upload the picture but it won't load it for some reason. Chrysler says part# 68263392AA doesn't work on power tow arm. It shouldn't make a difference if it's manual or power, the arm configuration is the same and it sure as hell went on your truck!!
