In Philadelphia there are 12 volt plugs on the Subway. With this printer, I could plug it in and print people out pictures that would make them happy. And I could even make a video of me doing so! I don't know about you, but if I saw that on the subway, my mind would be BLOWN!

I have one HP4185. I have been refilling the 2 cartridges (21b and 22) a few times from a local shop since I bought it back in 2009 and never purchased any new cartridges till date. Printer was working fine. Very recently the 2 Indicator Lights of Color and Black/Photo cartridges are glowing orange whenever I turn on the printer and no Print/Scan/Copy functions can be done. Pls help.

The title of it is “An Alignment Page Prints When the All-in-One is Turned On or Off or a Print Job is Started”. To find it, please search for C01065136 on HP’s home page or using Google search. Nancy Garcia Did you refill the cartridges or replace them? If you refilled them and it does not work they may have been damaged during the refill process and I would encourage you to purchase new cartridges. If you purchased the cartridges and they are not working I would recommend that you contact HP Technical Support as the cartridges have their own warranty.

I've had my Deskjet F380 for more than 16 years. The printer still works, but now it frequently wants a printer cartridge alignment even if I don't change the cartridges. The problem is that HP doesn't make the cartridges for the printer anymore, so I have to use aftermarket cartridges, and I believe the printer has an issue with that. I think HP should stop caring about "authentic" cartridges being in the printer considering that I haven't seen any difference in quality between the HP cartridges and the aftermarket cartridges. Otherwise, I like the printer.

My printer is my father-in-laws and he said he only used it twice and hasn't been using it for a long time, offered it to me and now I am stuck with a very old software that does not work with windows 11. I bought new cartridges for simply nothing and can't return them and began to think that this is the way my fil is taking revenge for my convincing my mil to rest a little after a long day instead of baking five different types of desserts.

Printer's status appears to be "idle" rather than online. The website does not provide an updated software for it. F4180 is not that old. I still fail to see the main problem.

To contact support, what you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call. It may help speed up the call process. Step 1. Click on the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/ Step 2. Enter Product number or select the auto detection Step 3. Scroll down to ‘Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options’ Step 4. Scroll down and click on ‘HP contact options’ Step 5. Click on ‘Get phone number’ Case number and phone number appear.
