I’d this a gas or electric? Bc i have a gas one ace I’m wondering if this is the same so i can clean my filter. Do i turn the gas off and i don’t have the blue and red valve knob’s.

@@bethanygoins8010 gas, those knows are isolation valves. Makes it easier to service unit like cleaning the filter. You will need to shut off the water to remove and clean the filter

@ thank you, that exactly what i did and cleaned the filter, didn’t solve my issue tho so I’ll be checking the hot water line on my kitchen tomorrow and hopefully that helps. Also gonna check the handle thingy.

I get the P1 code when my circulation pump is running but soon as I turn the water somewhere in my sink or anywhere the P1 code goes away and then when the water is not running nowhere the cold comes back after 30 minutes or so

Would this also help with water taking its time to turn hot ?

It can if the filter is that clogged. I would definitely check although you might have other issues. A clogged filter will contribute to code 12 error.

Unplug it, leave it off for 5 minutes then plug it back and turn it on. If it continues it could be a gas lighter issue, has pressure etc.
