Great instructional video that covered the topic extremely well. Very much appreciated by this novice who is self-servicing his Arrow wood heater. Cheers

Excellent video - The metal on my door was rusty so I sanded it down to bare metal & gave it a fresh coat of high temperature paint. Plus the inside facing side of the glass had a brownish looking stain so I used polishing compound with an orbital polisher to make the glass look brand new. Your video does a great job showing how to apply the new gasket.

Thank you! another tip to clean the glass - you can use some black ash from fire and a little water, make a paste and wipe the smut off - or use 0000 wire wool to clean glass or the surrounding. Cheers

Hi, yes it needs to be Robax Neo Ceramic 5mm (5mm is most commonly used) glass.

why did the actual stove dealer tell me to NOT put the sticky side to the glass? seems impossible to accurately install with the sticky side to the metal.

Do they need a certain type of glass as my glass has cracked :(

Mine did too. The local hardware store recommended going to a glass company to have them create the window then "tempter" the glass.

@@DronesOverHaines ...My glass in my wood burning stove was cracked, my local glass shop made one for me for $48, they had to have the old one to use as a template. A new one from Amazon was $104. fyi.. it's not tempered glass, it's clear ceramic, which does not contract and expand due to extreme temperature changes,

@@Retro-Hippie This is great information. Thank you! I will check out Amazon for the new glass!
