Thanks for video went ahead already ordered a Printed Circuit for my 69 Ford Ranchero Rio Grande. Been looking for a Standard Gauges printed circuit to replace mine for awhile. I had a dead fuel gauge and after replacing several sending units and tracking down a NOS sending unit I realize it was a dead circuit on the printed circuit.Made few attempts to fix with copper tape to fix circuit but it would always fail again. The solution I found was I could run a jumper wire to get power to the fuel guage. But super excited to get a fully functioning Printed Circuit.

Your lettering talent was amazing. I really liked the AOD OFF lettering. Thanks for the video and please keep them coming.

Good ideas, I really like the O/D off light. The oil pressure mod is outstanding, but I have factory tach so couldn't use it. One thing to note, PC are different from '68 through early '69 models(yours is a early version). Those have the provisions for cold light and wiring in harness. Approx three months into '69 production, the opening, circuit board traces and harness wiring were eliminated. I have no problem reusing bulbs, only exception are ones used for general cluster illumination. The #194 bulbs are rated 2500 hours usage, unlike milk, no expiration date.

@3:50 Thanks for your insight on the LED dash lights. They do have a spectrum that is different from the incandescent bulbs used back then. Agree with replacing all the bulbs; they don't cost much, and they weren't meant to last this long.

The 68 circuit board is a little different where the voltage regulator mounts. And Ford did use the cold/hot sending unit in 68. Also, the lights are not reversible, if you put them in with the tabs backwards, they won't work. Just an FYI for someone replacing the bulbs.

Unless you're talking LED, tab orientation makes no difference. There is no polarity on incandescent. Early '69 had all the wiring for cold light, add dual sender & bulb, had one on mine since mid '70s.

Looks very similar to the ones on an 05 Crown Vic. They haven’t changed much over the years, at least not in appearance.

Those punches work better if used on the end grain of the wood block.

Always good content. Editing is pretty good . Just 90% to much joking around banter especially when there’s two hosts.
