I've bought from Angelears before but I haven't experienced any issues (so far, anyway). I guess product defects are possible from any source but the import thing is that they responded promptly to correct it. They seem to have a pretty good rep all around and their products are priced competitively so I have no doubt I'll be purchasing from their shop again. 🙂 It's great to know that they make it a priority when customers do voice a complaint, though. Thank you for another great one! 👍

It's this going to be your format for tales of customer service or is this just an hors d'oeuvre?

Hahaha, no this is a super fast one. You're right though, this is a hors d'oeuvre/amuse bouche :)

@AudioAmigoReviews Cool. It seems that KZ has several affiliated brands. Besides CCA, it seems QKZ and Tripowin are spin-offs. Is this accurate and do you know if there are any other brands that are liked to KZ?

@wrbrown571 tripowin is it's own linsoul brand. Joyodio is kz though.

@@wrbrown571 KZ had beef with QKZ in the past, and both KZ and QKZ have said that they have no affiliation with each other. No idea if that's true, but the way they were mudslinging at each other seemed pretty legit. KZ is equivalent to CCA, Yoyodio and G.K from what I know. Tripowin is under the Thieaudio umbrella along with Ziigaat, KiwiEars, and HarmonicDyne Moondrop, Truthear and Softears are all somewhat related. Penon and ISN are related Sivga and Kefine are both related to Sendy Letshuoer and Artti are related MyerAudio, Pula and Juzear are related Kinera has QoA and Celest under them. No clue as to QKZ honestly. I doubt they're related to KZ since HBB still worked with them in Jan with the Hades after everything that happened with the DQ6 and the PR2

@@AudioAmigoReviews Right. The fake driver story is my angle. So the KZ "fake driver" issue came up in DMS's comment section from his video about the 64 audio solo and that it uses $55 drivers ($110/pair) in a $1400 set. So, prices on drivers are usually far, far lower than that and $55 is quite high for a driver. I said that KZ is like buying store brand. "Same stuff, different name on the box." My point was you didn't have to spend a lot of money to get good sound. Some folks immediately took to dumping on KZ because of the fake driver tale, which eventually the original poster, Delta Fyre, had later stated that he was mistaken about how the drivers are used. Headphonesty did a story on it about a year ago. I want to separate fact from fiction, so I know what went down. Also want to know who is KZ collectively because that helps flesh out the story.
