I have to replace the outer dome on my shower skylight next week when I get back from Zion. Do you try to reuse the same screwholes from the old skylight when installing the new or does it really matter? Thanks for the video(s). I really enjoy your channel!

After watching your video I tackled replacing my own cracked outer dome skylight on my shower. My roof is EPDM and after carefully removing the old cracked dome and replacing with the new one, the EPDM seems to have stretched a bit causing unseemly wrinkles and a bit of now excess material. The dome seems to have sealed well - there are just wrinkles in the EPDM around the the outside of the new lap sealant. I was thinking of putting down some eternabond around the outer perimeter of the new lap sealant , thus flattening out the wrinkles in the EPDM. Your thoughts? PS, I love your channel and have learned a lot! Thanks!

Those wrinkles don't hurt a thing. Don't put eterna-bond on wrinkles. Glad you are learning from my videos.

Could you have used Eternabond tape to seal the skylight? Your thoughts on that method?

Eternabond is not the solution. There is nothing eternal about it. ha ha... it has it's uses. I don't think this is one of them.

What Butyl tape do you recommend and how wide ? Thanks

Personally I prefer putty tape over butyl 3/4 wide.

So is it better to use putty tape or dicor or skylight Sealant under the edge of the skylight against the roof membrane.

Please use putty tape. The next guy that might have to remove it will appreciate that.

I own a Class A 1999 Diesel pusher - I was told by our local RV repair guy that our door is tweaked and there is no fix but to replace it? If it is tweaked the deflection is not easily seen with the naked eye... have you run across this before? Any input would be appreciated.

Is this the entry door? Tweaked? Is it leaking air or water? Usually the only adjustment we can do to an entry door is to tweak it. If one of the corners need adjusted a little.
