This has been very helpful. I'm still learning quite a bit about SNOW, even though I am a beginner CSA. I don't know a lot of coding yet, so this helps. I was wondering if you were going to do a video about copying close code and/or close notes from one change task to another? I see the other vids are about updating the parenting or autoclosing the parent after the tasks are completed. But, if you could present this, that would be great. Love your channel!

I'm not sure the use case is rational. When you close one Change Task it copies the close notes to all other change tasks? If one change task closes all others, why have multiple change tasks? But anyway, here's how you'd do it. - New Flow on Update of Change Task where close notes changes. 1 - Lookup Records (change tasks) where parent = trigger record parent 2 - for each of 1 3 - Update Record. Close Notes = Trigger close notes. No code necessary.

@@robertthedukefedoruk5607 Well, I had an associate ask me about an incident where the last change task wasn't closing/closed because the close notes weren't being filled out and the users were just updating the task and leaving it, which in turn left the change request in a state of Review, because the close code and close notes fields are mandatory. #USERERROR So, he was trying to copy the close code & close notes from the previous task to the last task to have it close, then update the change request which would close it as well. Thank you so much for the response though. I appreciate your insight and the explanation. It's how we continue learn.😊

@@Notkots_M - if this seems like a user error than its not something I'd tackle with Flow Designer. Flow Designer is for when we have a known repeatable process we want to happen every time.
