Thank you for posting; I had been looking for instructions on how to do this and didn’t have much luck. The only difference is I have a Jeep Liberty, but I know the Nitro is the same model essentially.

Thanks for the video dude! I've got an issue with my '08 R/T, same tire as yours. Just replaced my rotors, pads, calipers, front brake lines and still burning the driver side-front rotor. I'm thinking of doing it myself this time but I'm going to try replacing the speed sensors. Again, thanks for the video.

I would check to make sure that the slide pins are greased good to slide back and forth. But mine was a worn out hub that was causing the rotor to grind against the pad were it started smoking and burn into the pad and rotor 2008 Dodge Nitro - Part 6 - REPLACING WHEEL HUB DRIVERS FRONT - REAR WHEEL DRIVE kzbin.info/www/bejne/inqcXotmet-ar7c

What was the main cause for the wire to burn ?

Did replacing the sensor fix the issue

Well the real reason was we had a leaking rear brake line by the rear axle that was causing the front breaks not the grip fast enough which in turn caused the whole wheel assembly to get hot. Which made the wheel bearing go bad and eventually burned up the wiring for the wheel sensor.
