That bottom, left bolt is being difficult because you removed both top bolts, shifting all the weight AND gravity's pull, to the bottom bolts. You should REINSERT one or both upper bolts and just begin snugging them. That should redistribute weight and pressure.

Can confirm that bottom left bolt is generally a mofo regardless of which sequence the rest are removed or loosened

Is it true that u must change the condenser if changing the compressor to avoid damage to the new compressor
@RBTheMechanic6 ай бұрын
I never done that it’s 100% BS
@danb533917 күн бұрын
That's only true if the shop is trying to rip you off. Filter drier (if fitted) should be changed ideally, but usually isn't.

I can’t find the PAG oil capacity anywhere! Can you tell me how many ounces, and what type of PAG oil? I can’t find the refrigerant either. Help!
@RBTheMechanic Жыл бұрын
Depends on how much u took out when u recovered it that’s how I do I measure the amount that came out
@danb533917 күн бұрын
For oil confirm with supplier, but generally there will still be oil in the system anyway, so 50ml is enough. As for the refrigerant weight, it should be on a plate/tag. If you don't know what refrigerant it is, you should leave it alone and get someone who does know to do the job 😉

@RBTheMechanic thanks... I was looking up videos and one showed replacing ECV. Mt wife has a 2016 KIA Sportage and the ac went out, it seems common for some KIAs, only has 50k miles. I use to do everything myself, but I have an injury.

The cheap eBay compressors are garbage, and if you don't pull a vacuum it will never be as cold
