Best video I've seen on here on this procedure There's a lot of videos that show you how to swap that tumbler out but if you have the transponder type you're going to have to program it and that's the part they always leave out. I've been a auto tech for 41 years so I have the equipment to program it but the average guy does not in the equipment is not cheap lol Re-keying it to your original keys your best bet! Well done!!

I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this, considering how many Plymouth Voyagers, Dodge Caravans, etc. are out there, and how often an issue involving this must occur.

Question: If I just replaced cylinder and used new keys and taped my transponder key next to ignition, do you think it would start? This is on a 2000 Caravan I only use occasionally. I am trying to bypass the issue of having to replace all of those pieces.
