Replacing bank 1 catalytic converter on a 2016 maxima

Life saver, that converter was whooping my ass. Was about to break out plasma cutter. I thought who in the hell makes a car that first part you remove are the wiper blades to replace converter. THANK YOU MASTER TECH 6521!

So on 2014 nissan patfinder v6 awd is the bank 1 is by the fire wall or front of the car by radiator? I got p0420

By the fire wall bank 1 is always the bank with cylinder one or the cylinder closest to the front of the engine

Gives you the necessary room to get access to all the bolts. Best repair video I've ever seen.

@@angellovesong100 Thank you any advice is much appreciated. The Nissan repair manual says to remove motor and trans. I have never heard of that being necessary to replace a primary cat.

Yeah same for the titan but I can get them out without pulling the motor I haven’t done one in quite a while and have been out of work due to a family emergency I would try this I’ve been doing this for 15 years and we rarely work on those or see them
