Replacing a damaged Tata Safari Storme key. Get a empty key shell online, transfer the chip and sensor, get the blank key made by a keymaker and voila , it works! Cheap,simple fix rather than spending thousands at the authorised service center.

Thank you for the detailed procedure, it's very instructive . Please would you share the name of the seller as there are at least 4 of them. Some of the units sold come with the key blades fixed in the plastic . I am interested in procuring one identical to that shown in the video. Thanks in advance.

Try changing the button cell first, probably cells have worn out. If it still doesn't work , then take to a key maker.

Thanks for posting this. I am in the same situation now, both of my Safari Storme keys have worn out badly and I am having a hard time opening the car. 1. Could you please help me with the link of the website where you purchased this key? 2. Can any key maker do the job or do I need to look for some expert with machinery to cut the key? and usually how much does this cost. Thanks again!
