I did this same job on the same model a few years ago. That tip with the isopropyl alcohol in a syringe, under the battery, is a godsend. I had a right job getting the battery out without bending it & risking it exploding. I had an iPhone battery explode once before, & I can tell you it’s not pleasant! You live & learn.

Pretty much the same process for iPad Air 1st gen then all iPad models 5 through to 9

Good day iDoctor you said you would leave a link where to get the low tack tape. Or even a part number would do. You also siad 18 degrees C ? how long do you leave it on the heating pad? I generally use 75C for 5 min. Thanks lot of good tips.
