Replacing Motherboard for Dell Latitude E6520

I hope you still peek in on your channel every now and then...if you do, what things do you need to consider if you want to replace your motherboard ? I've also got the same kind of laptop and I am thinking of replacing the mother board and processor....what kind of mother board should I look for, and processor ? I'm not a computer tech but heck....you know.....

how do you remember which screw goes where? after some liquid accident with my e6520 i put a too long one through the keyboard which killed the internal graphics card. stupidity hits bad design

Oh pfff. I've worled on probally 1000+ laptops over 10 years, never once used gloves, never had a problem. just jam it in there.
