IDK why you showed up in my feed, but I’m so glad you did. Bless you and your family. This helps my mind more than you know - I live in an 875 sq ft house with crawl space. The house has settled considerably and bathroom floor desperately needs replaced. The water pipes in my attic froze last winter and burst, ruining the ceilings and floors. I have to do work myself so your video helped me wrap my brain around the flooring part. And also helps me know I’m not only one with this type of situation. TY and great work!

Wow, I’m sorry that happened. I’ve leveled pier and beam houses that have settled in the past. You’ll probably need a bottle jack and shims, coveralls and a bunch of good energy. Hope it goes well.

Why did you build your subfloor below the slab?

The slab that you see is on a slope from east to west. It drops like a half to a quarter inch per foot. It’s kind of a long story. If I had to do it over I would have leveled that whole area first.
