How did you bleed the air out after you installed the part back on the hoses? I see you lifted the coolant reservoir above the engine bay and started your car on jacks. And I’m assuming you just keep refilling the reservoir until it was full. But how did you force out the air without opening the radiator cap and filling from that end as well?

Used a coolant funnel and the back bleed port that was installed in this video.

Lucjy Save...Got my 2009 with 175k on the clock first thing I did was order up the adaptor from GK.. Prevention ls easier then cure haha Also Waiting on Gallery Gasket Video...Haha ... That's the Achilles heel of this engine. Unfortunately, not an easy job, but you need to do it, bud..

Very, just glad mine lasted 200k km 😂 gallery gaskets are definitely something I need to do, a lot of things go into that but needs to be done hahaha

How many coolant bottles do I need ?

Depends how much spills out, but the whole system required 8.5L I only used 3-4L of my bottle

100% such weak points. Not even asking for much but just put metal where you know plastic will fail. But I guess that’s the beauty of us working on our cars to make them better than factory
