Replacing pool jacuzzi water heater temperature sensor

When I went to turn on my Jacuzzi, my heater wouldn't come on because water temperature was showing 239 degree Fahrenheit even though the temperature was really only 80 degrees. I didn't think to check the water temperature sensor because I had changed it 18 months ago (after it had previously lasted six years). I changed out the heater thermistor, but that didn't fix the problem. So I checked the water temperature sensor again, and sure enough, it was cracked. The replacement was less than $20 and it took less than 15 minutes to swap it out.
