"This video is an absolute game-changer! The tip about using high speed for wood and low speed for metal is incredibly useful. It's amazing how such small adjustments can make such a big difference in the results. Thanks for sharing these practical tricks!"

I wouldn't call it a "trick" - more just common sense!

For the most part, the video is very helpful. When drilling through steel, use slow speed as you have shown but also use bees' wax or a drop of cutting oil to extend the life of the drill. At 6:25 you should use vise grips to hold the cap (or disc or washer) to keep it from rotating and preventing possible injury. At 9:30 the zip ties with dowel is a great idea and along with that you could use a 3/16" center punch (or drift punch) and poke about 4 to 6 holes along the rim of the paint can so that excess paint along the rim can drip back into the paint can. At the same time you could have shown how to make a dowel using the electric hand drill but that could be for your next vid. They say "genius is common sense applied" and you are there. THANKS for your vid and keep them coming. If 2 or 3 tips are helpful then you are successful so press on.

If you don't use an ammonia-based cleaning LIQUID SOAP (not CREAM), as a coolant and lubricant whilst drilling into metals, you will never appreciate what a superb addition to your work it is! I have tried almost everything, but this beats everything else on the market. Bits remain cool through the toughest jobs, retain their edges much longer and a few drops go a long way. If you place a plastic container under the work to catch any drips, place a magnet under the dish for iron-based metals. Then pour off the clean fluid and reuse it. Remove the magnet to clean the dish. No 3 makes no sense to me. I NEVER drill horizontal holes for hanging things, but drill downward into the wall. this causes the nail, etc to angle upward. Nothing ever falls off the walls in my house, even during a heavy tremor.

The tip at 02:58 about not drilling at too high a speed and never changing speed while the drill is running was super helpful! It's something I hadn't considered before, and it definitely improves control and precision. Thanks for sharing this awesome tip!
