Replacing rear brake pads 2012 Dodge Journey Part 1

Lift the vehicle off the ground properly and securely.
Remove the tires
19mm socket to remove lug nuts.
13mm socket for removing the caliper bolts.
Remove the caliper from the assembly.
Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
Depress the caliper inward so there is enough room for the new pads.
Apply brake lube or general purpose grease to the caliper bolts and the brackets. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT! I cant tell you how many times I've seen new brake jobs ruined or making bad sounds simply because this step was skipped. Also do not get the brake lube on the rotor.
Put new brake pads into the bracket. 5:07
Reassemble the caliper onto the bracket. Back to its original position.
Be sure the caliper position was depressed far enough.
