Whenever I need to throw away a washer like this, I save every good part off of them so I have parts, I got a whirlpool version of that and it had bad suspension rods, so I went to my box of suspension rods and pulled four of the same kind out of them, and I installed them into the washer… and those suspension rods came from a HE washplate version of that washer you are recording right there…

I wished it took only 6 minutes to do? 😂... Those springs are a bitch.. arms got tired real quick pulling the last two closest to the back no room.. Your video helped a lot watched it several times.. had to go back again to see how you put the lid back on. It was a piece of cake after I saw it a few more times.. 👍👍👍

Greetings do you have to remove any back panel screws before lifting lid??? 80 series Kenmore Washer.. I removed the lid, but wondering if it's broken 🤔

Check on Amazon! Best deal and quick shipping. Often you can google your mode number and get the specific part number. Then just order off Amazon.

What goes bad on these things? Springs normally last a damn long time, like the ones on a '57 Chevy.

I just went through this.. Look inside your washer, get the model #, goggle Kenmore washing machine parts and it'll take you to a Kenmore page that'll give you the parts # to your specific washer.. Then you can order right off Amazon or direct from Kenmore. Hope that helps!

The one I posted in the video is the most common one, but there are multiple different kinds. Just do like Alana said and Google The model number and order the part off Amazon. They all install essentially this same way though.
