I hope you're doing great, but in any case, you're doing better than I am because my air suspension compressor decided to commit suicide on my 2010 Lincoln Navigator (very similar to the Ford Expedition). I parked it on a kind of small hill with one of the rear wheels being way lower than the other. I didn't think anything of it at the time, and I'm still not sure that that was what killed the compressor, but I assume that because of the angle the air could've escaped and the compressor had to work extra hard to try and pump it back up and that's what did it in.
In any case, it was dead and it came time for me to attempt to replace it on my own with, as usual, no prior knowledge or experience, and here's my attempt at doing that. In the process, I have discovered some hacks to make the job easier, so that should help you out a bit.
Another point in this video is how to activate the pump after installation, which was a difficult point for me. As you know, I do have the advanced Autel MaxiCom MK908P super diagnostics computer, which was a big help (I think) in getting this pump to work after the install, but I'm not sure what I would've done if I didn't have that. If you know how to activate this compressor without a computer, please leave it in the comments below so we could all learn.
In any case, I do hope you found this video entertaining (even if you didn't find it helpful :). Please consider hitting the LIKE button and SUBSCRIBING to the channel. It really means the world to me and gives me the inspiration that I so terribly need to make better and better content going forward. Thank you very much, and I’ll see you on the next one. ✌🏼
