I cracked my mirror while backing up from tight garage space, I was bummed as the dealer quoted almost 1 K for parts,paint and labor. Your video gave me confidence and decided to go DIY route. Thank you very much for the detailed video! I just changed my 2019 GMC Terrain mirror which is same as the Equinox you show in your video. It has been such a time saver to not take off the entire door panel - unlike many other videos suggesting, and everything was exactly as you described. The entire passenger mirror replacement job did not take more than 15 minutes.

This video was awesome. I got the parts and tried to get an appointment yesterday to have the replacement mirror installed. They couldn't accommodate me until next week so I decided on the DIY path and your video helped me get it done.

@@kyragibson3149 the chevy dealership near me. I'm in long island so there are as many chevy dealerships as there are Starbucks shops They still had to order the parts but it only took 2 days to arrive. Also needed the clip puller, got that from autozone.

I was able to change my mirror so easily, thanks to this video! After doing this, I then discovered that the camera on the new mirror was not responsive. The camera on the old mirror worked fine. Do you have any how-to's on troubleshooting the mirror camera and/or replacing it? The new mirror seems to work perfectly outside of this and when I put the car in reverse, it is blacked out on my screen.

If i want to upgrade my 2 side mirrors cause they don’t have the turning signal to ones that do have, will that be possible? Will the wires that came with the my car still work for the new ones with the turning signal light? Or do I have to get new cables for it?
