In your newer model Trinton Aspirante , the PRD is at the back of the outlet and screwed from the back. Can it be removed without removing the entire device from the wall. Why such a common failure is made so much complicated to solve in the newer models ?

Are all triton shower pressure relief devise the same or do all tritons use the same pressure relief devise

We use 2 different types of pressure relief devices on our showers, so it will be dependant on the model.

It would be worth in the first instance checking the water pressure going to the product, if the minimum water pressure requirement is not being met then the elements in the shower won't activate. If the water pressure is okay it would be worth contacting our service team on 02476 372222

Do you need to turn the mains water off to do this?

In the fitting instructions supplied with the PRD we say to switch off the electricity and water supply at the mains before replacing

I have one of these in my house and it just won't get cold.....I'm dying in this heat. I can't even open it to check 😩

It would be worth checking the accessories are clear, no kinks in the hose and the head jets have no hard water build up. Restrictions can cause overheating due to the water sitting in the heater longer. If the accessories appear okay we'd advise contacting our service team on 02476 372222 for further help.
