@@emmettmag9740 No the shower water stop valve within the unit will be enough. The electrical off, and thus the start switch will isolate the water

Thanks very much for the video. I replaced the PRV but it happened again next day. What could I be doing wrong? Pushing the ball in too far maybe?

Hi, yes definitely this device is the stop the super heated water scolding you, if the pressure in the shower is too low and the temperature too high this will operate and allow you to keeps safe. My feeling is your in a hard water area and the heat exchanger in your shower now has Limescale build up and this not allowing the water to come through at the appropriate rate, this activation of the safety device!! Don’t allow your family to use the shower until it is replaced. Thanks for commenting

My electric Triton Cara shower won't always get hot & goes cold a lot, if I take the shower head off & put my finger over the hose head to make more pressure it works, do you think a new pressure relief valve will fix it?

where did you get the kit from to do this mines just gone and with cobid 19 I cant get it repaired as the council says it's not a priority

@@KarlBrooks-Tack-Man thank you again I will do if needed I have turned off from main breaker and pad locked the cover shut before i removed it the first time not risking it lol the picture it shows is a different prd but I'm guessing the replacement balls are semi universal?

Katrina Hands sometimes you can push the ball through a little too much. Please retry the process from the beginning and let see if this sorts the problem.
