I appreciate the fact that you can report the actual time taken. I think that's important. Thank you.

My friend, allow me to make a small comment about you, in my youth I had a 1960 Corvair, I live in Cuba, I spent thousands of work to maintain it due to lack of knowledge and spare parts, but I was able to maintain it for many years and I always dreamed of being able to make changes to it. to improve it, something I couldn't, now I watch your videos and I am amazed by your work, I am not a mechanic but I know something about fixing cars and I am fascinated by that activity, I was an airplane and helicopter pilot for 40 years, I only ask that you continue with your videos that is an inspiration for Corvair lovers, I would give part of my life to be able to have a Corvair with all the improvements that you propose, greetings to you

You just talked me out of replacing my driver's side wheel bearing! I'm replacing suspension bushings all around and have already broken 3 bolts on the left trailing arm bracket. Major PITA, seized in place, I had to drill & retap. My wheel bearing is smooth, was just looking to replace as preventive maintenance but I have so much other stuff to do I'll wait on that. Thanks, nice video.

Two of my repair videos at kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2GUYWqrnsqAp9k and kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpTIfJSQqM2DkMk BTW I live in Los Angeles now, but my car and I are both from Charleston SC originally. I don't miss that humidity! :)

New corvair owner as I mentioned on your previous vids, I got a 65 monza. I watch a lot of videos and I will tell you what. Your camera angles, the natural lighting and just your lighting overall is great. The right camera angle and you taking your time to point and use tools to show exactly what your talking about makes it easy for me to understand. By far your the best channel for me to learn from because you speak simple as I understand what your doing. Thanks for thinking about how your filming things, great work and a big fan! - Havoc

I had a 65 Monza I had restored and helped restore and I loved that Car ! Sadly, going back to school in Evansville, IN from Springfield, TN. the steering arm snapped and I went off the road into a creek and that was the end of that. I would so much love to own another Corvair. Maybe one day before I die.

@@AutoAnatomy I had 4 corvairs through my years, Mom had a light yellow 62 model, and a 65 model in blue just like that one, I had the yellow 65 I restored, and drove a blue 65 500 model with the power glide trans while my monza was being restored. I sold it to an older couple, who fixed it over nice, to help pay for my resto. Looking back I wish I had rebuilt the front end, but was told it wasn't needed. I have my eye on a 64 spyder 4 door, with a 4 speed, and 150 horse turbo. Cant get seller down to a reasonable price

So if flooded the front wheel bearings are probably contaminated too. Surprised you never try to clean up a lot of the rust. Did you relub the drive shaft knuckles? I would worry things like the rusty brake spring could break. These video are showing up out if order for me as you have fixed the shifter already. Not sure how I can get things in order. I like your video!

I’ve found that sliding a 9/16” closed end wrench over the cable will compress the tabs so you can slide them out.
