Well played, KIN 👍 O the hours spent in 1980 playing this with a gang of toughs in the wintry chip shop... We knew every twist of those creatures - the eyelashes, flies, butterflies, the snowballs and the arrows.

Moon Cresta! I've had the music from this game stuck in my head for years. Never could find the name of the game it was from. It was in the back of an old convenience store that I only went to a couple times. By the time I went back, it was long, long gone. Wow. Such memories. That intro tune! Brings me back! Good times...

The attack patterns of the enemies is much trickier than Galaxian or Gaplus! Nice classic game.
great arcade classic!! i played a lot of hours with it. Also scramble, defender, galaxian, phoenix or twin cobras are very addictive! thanks for upload this brother!
I remember this game terrifying me because the way the baddies moved always seemed freaky af. Really seemed alien. It’s also what started my love for hard sci fi, weirdly enough because I started liking the aesthetic of spacecraft like the ISS and modules docking with it and I combined that with battleships of sci fi, so this is overall a pretty influential little shooter for me.

I've been looking for this for a crazy number of years! I loved how all the sounds changed at different levels and could remember them all but never the name! Thank you for posting! I watched the whole thing - sad I know 😂
I used to play that in Quebec city in the 80's! I've been searching for it for years. All I remembered was that it was called moon something. I used finally used "Galaga" and "docking" in a search query.

I was never much good at this memorable game, but the I + II combined ship always seemed to me the best configuration.

I used to play, or just watch others play this game when I was a kid. Just found someone who knew the name. And the intro brought me right back.
I completed this game many times along with other 80s arcade games, i was a genius at these games

moon cresta was one of those games I saw everywhere when I was a kid mostly in cocktail format (the one where you sit down and the "table" is glass with the game beneath it and in 2 player mode (though I never did this back in the day) the screen flips to the other side for the other person. it was either this one, asteroids, galaga, ms. pac-man or centipede that nearly place seemed to have. while there were many more games out there (and we were a late adopter of home game consoles, I didn't play those at friends houses until the NES became popular a few years later) and some I liked much better in those early years, so when I thought of "video games" these were what most readily came to mind. one book I had on video games called it "the most annoying popular game" (which I can agree with in terms of difficulty and music!) still, very iconic with its colorful graphics. but it was everywhere, much like at one time you couldn't seemingly visit an airport without running into at least one "Area 51" cabinet or any of the few surviving arcades that didn't have "Time Crisis" in some form or another. it just goes to show that no matter how popular puzzlers or maze games or driving games, games where you just get to shoot a bunch of stuff always maintain their hold on the public.
dieses spiel bleibt unvergeßen und immer ein tolle erinnerung an meine jugend zeit.
